Welcome To a better life

Where your Journey of Self Regulation, Healing, and Embodiment begins.

Specializing in healing the effects of stress and trauma

About Me

From as far back as I can remember, I struggled significantly with mental health challenges, which led me to seek various forms of escape. That was until I discovered Regalena Melrose’s Self-Regulation Training at the age of 19. This transformative experience drastically improved my well-being, shifting me from merely surviving to living a vibrant, joyful life. Inspired by my own profound healing, I dedicated myself to helping others achieve similar freedom. After completing the Melrose Method in 2019, I established a private practice in New York, integrating somatic work, trauma healing, and holistic practices from around the world. My journey includes studying ancient healing techniques in India, earning an Integrative Trauma Therapy Certification from The Embody Lab, and deepening my expertise in Integrative Somatic Parts Work (IFS) with Fran D. Booth. My mission is to empower others on their path to healing and freedom.

"The body is built to heal itself, only we must give it our attention in order to notice that this healing can happen."

What I Do

I specialize in somatic therapy and trauma healing, integrating ancient and modern practices to address stress and trauma in the body. My work focuses on regulation, boundary work, mindfulness, meditation, and advanced therapeutic techniques to enhance well-being, self-awareness, and embodiment.

Self Regulation Training

Self Regulation Training (SRT) leverages somatic experiencing to help individuals manage arousal and anxiety by harnessing the body’s natural ability to recover. It integrates stress and trauma with personal strengths to create empowering experiences and develop new neural pathways, leading to improved emotional and behavioral choices. This approach helps clients transition into states of empowerment, peace, and resilience, enhancing their ability to handle future stress and trauma.

Accupressure

Acupressure is a gentle, non-invasive therapy based on principles from traditional Chinese medicine. It involves applying pressure to specific points on the body, known as acupoints, to stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities and restore balance. Similar to acupuncture, but without needles, acupressure uses the fingers, palms, or elbows to apply pressure, helping to relieve tension, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being.

Somatic Parts Work (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as composed of distinct “parts,” each with its own roles. IFS helps individuals identify and understand these parts, address internal conflicts, and foster harmony. Our experiences can manifest as tension or specific patterns in thoughts and behaviors. By connecting with the compassionate Self, clients can heal past wounds and transform unhelpful patterns, improving emotional well-being.
